Grays was established in 1894 in Lake Boga near Swan Hill as a general store.
Descendants of the same family have run the South Melbourne shop as a unique service to the local community for the last 6 years from their Victorian shop front in Clarendon St.
Grays will literally sell your goods. Antiques rub shoulders with couches, dining tables, chairs, english china, wardrobes, in fact, any item that has been made for the home during the 19th and 20th century (retro, modern or period pieces).
Intersesting and practical items from the homes in the inner city are offered for sale in return for a percentage of the sale price. Free collection is available in most circumstances. Purchasers know a bargain won't be on display for long.
These terms encourage a rapid turnover and with over a hundred new items coming into the shop each week, regular visits are recommended.
